Jeremy Makay – Chief Growth Officer

Jeremy Makay brings nearly 20 years of federal market experience and has a successful track record of increasing top line growth with new and existing markets. Over the course of his career, Jeremy has managed multiple billion-dollar IDIQs supporting highly visible, congressionally sensitive contracts, led several successful large capture efforts that helped to position companies into new market arenas for strategic expansion, and has a proven track record of growing federal portfolios with existing and new customers.

Jeremy joined Firebird AST in 2021 as the Chief Growth Officer where he is responsible for both the strategic and tactical growth of the company by expanding functional capability into new market areas with existing and new customers. As Chief Growth Officer, Jeremy oversees revenue generation activities, business development efforts, partnership development strategies, marketing and outreach, and sustainable growth planning.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Studies from George Mason University with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and Minor in Business Administration.

Jeremy is Acquisition Level 3 certified by the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), holding additional certifications and executive trainings from Yale University and the Defense Institute Security Assistance Management (DISAM).

Jeremy is Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) trained and certified as a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt with demonstrated success creating program efficiencies, achieving cost savings, and planning and executing program requirements.
